The Silvermoon Emperor is the head of the Silvermoon Empire, functioning as a formal head of state and hereditary ruler of the Empire.
Executive Authority[]
The Emperor has unquestioned authority to appoint delegates, officials and leaders as he sees fit but as a leader he is also required to follow general common sense and justice and fair rulings as he needs to demonstrate the ability to lead.
Judicial Authority[]
The Emperor also must function as the supreme judge for the Empire. In cases that involve the empire as a whole, the Emperor makes his interactions clear. Though it is possible for the Emperor to rule on a more local level on individual cases, it is rare for this to happen as he is more than frequently more occupied with affairs of state.
Royal Authority[]
The Emperor's authority rests on numerous similarities to the King of Silvermoon. The Emperor's rights and authority rest on his overall command of absolute leadership from those who support him and those who wish favors from him. The Emperor is the commander of all military forces, and the only one who can name his successor and co-leadership partner. The Emperor's power of appointment and demotion is his greatest power as anyone who is in favor with him can be elevated to great levels of wealth and power and those who fall out of favor can also be disgraced and humiliated.
